Job Overview

Our thriving quick service eatery is in search of a dedicated individual with outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills to take on the role of Shift Supervisor. In this position, you will be responsible for managing the staff, welcoming and serving customers, and overseeing restaurant operations during your designated shift.

Your collaboration with team members will ensure that food and beverages are served promptly. This role includes scheduling employees, assigning tasks, addressing customer complaints, and ensuring compliance with all food and beverage safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, train, and schedule restaurant personnel during shifts to ensure operational efficiency and enhance productivity.
  • Arrange for coverage of duties for team members unable to fulfill their shifts.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure all areas are adequately stocked by placing orders and coordinating deliveries.
  • Assign specific tasks to departments and individual staff, ensuring timely and successful completion for quick service delivery.
  • Address customer concerns promptly and courteously.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate team activities during shifts.
  • Ensure adherence to food quality and service standards.
  • Manage customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Train and mentor team members to improve performance.
  • Assist in managing inventory and placing orders as necessary.
Qualifications:
  • Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, are highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in food service and the ability to perform various roles within a restaurant, preferably in a fast food or quick service setting.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required.
  • Demonstrated organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Prior experience in a supervisory role or relevant position is essential.
  • Experience in the food service sector is necessary.
  • Previous management experience in a restaurant is preferred.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends is required.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are a must.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
