Job Summary

This role is responsible for coordinating learning and development of operators, assisting in the development of SOPs and ESLPs, and best practices in operation of boilers, steam turbines, and auxiliary equipment. The process lead will prepare, develop, manage, and coordinate the training of hourly and salaried colleagues, implementing Safe Work and other safety programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, develop, manage, and coordinate the training of hourly and salaried colleagues.
  • Assist in the development of SOPs and ESLPs.
  • Implement Safe Work and other safety programs.
  • Work closely with site and department leaders to assess efficiency, identify continuous improvement opportunities, and support process sustainability.
  • Develop and deliver training content for classroom and field training.
  • Facilitate written and performance assessments, as well as vital remediation plans.
  • Provide effective feedback and mentoring throughout the operator qualification process.
  • Responsible for the Site's new hire training and managing the mentoring program.
  • Analyze surveys, assessments, field audits, and key performance impacts to determine training efficiency.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Associates in Business or higher.
  • 5+ years of management and leadership experience.
  • Excellent safety record and awareness.
  • Previous continuous process experience.
  • Powerplant operation experience required.

Working Conditions

This role requires frequent computer work and the ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions, such as hot and cold temperatures, and a dusty or wet environment.
