Trade Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Trade Business Development Manager to join our team at Blinds To Go. As a key member of our trade marketing team, you will be responsible for building relationships with new home construction communities and developing business leads for our company within the Miami area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our marketing team to identify opportunities in target markets and establish Blinds To Go as the preferred vendor for development and new homeowners.
  • Identify and engage with key decision-makers for new developments, including builders, contractors, architects, designers, and real estate sales agents.
  • Develop relationships with property managers, concierge, and sales agents of existing high-end condo buildings to market directly to homeowners.
  • Craft and propose preferred marketing arrangements that channel leads to our sales team.
  • Work with marketing and sales to implement programs and track results.
  • Network and build awareness of our Trade Program and new home/condo offering by attending relevant trade shows and industry events.
  • Communicate trade needs to our marketing, merchandising, product development, and sales teams.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, marketing, or sales to the trade/B2B in related industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of the interior design, architecture, real estate, and construction industries.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to network and build relationships.
  • Strong critical thinking skills to assess client needs and propose effective solutions.
  • Good planning and organization skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.

We will set up the new hire for success by having them work in our showrooms for 3–4 months to understand our business paradigm and develop key relationships within our organization.
