Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Security Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen, Maryland. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and integrating DoD IA architectures, systems, or system components for use within the Network Environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop secure IA architectures, systems, or system components for use within the Network Environment.
  • Implement and integrate IA solutions to ensure functional and secure IS within the Network Environment and System of Systems environment.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD M and the Army Information Assurance(IA) Training and Certification Best Business Practice.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address IA-related issues and concerns.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in cybersecurity and IA.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Advanced Degree with concentration in Information Security or Cyber Security preferred.
  • Must be Information Assurance (IA) Trained and Certified per the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement IAW DoD M, Change 2.
  • 5 Years experience in IA or related field, or substitution of 7 years of professional experience with IA WORKFORCE SYSTEM ARCHITECT AND ENGINEER (IASAE) SPECIALTY qualification.
  • IASAE Level II positions require a working knowledge of the functions spelled out in Table 5 of DoD M.
