About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Charitable Giving Specialist to join our team in Northern California and Gold Country Regions. This is a hybrid role where you will meet with donors in person, by phone and video.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement planned giving programs to secure gifts supporting the American Red Cross mission.
  • Cultivate and solicit new opportunities and development strategies for planned giving donors.
  • Provide support, development and/or leadership guidance to all volunteers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in philanthropy studies, nonprofit management, law, finance, insurance, trust services, real estate, or other related field required.
  • Minimum 5 years of major gift or gift planning experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills required.
