Gift Planning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Gift Planning Specialist to join our team in San Francisco. In this role, you will be responsible for securing legacy gifts and stewarding long-term funding relationships with high net worth individuals. With over 300 campaign prospects rated $5M+, you will manage a team to build the pipeline of future support and raise awareness of legacy giving within our community.
**Job Description:**
Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year
As a key member of our development team, you will participate in principal gift strategies and demonstrate leadership in securing resources for USF fundraising priorities. You will be responsible for managing a staff of two, identifying, cultivating and soliciting deferred giving prospects, and developing a marketing plan to identify a continuing stream of legacy prospects.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Secure legacy gifts and steward long-term funding relationships

**Requirements:**
- Familiarity with the University of San Francisco and alignment with its stated mission
- Requires Bachelor's degree. JD or Masters Degree preferred
- Over five years experience and demonstrated success in prospect identification, relationship building, strategizing and solicitation of planned gifts
