THVI has established a remarkable reputation for clinical excellence, particularly in the management of heart failure, bi-ventricular mechanical support, and cardiac transplantation. With a history of over 1000 successful heart transplants, Temple's heart transplant program is recognized for its pioneering efforts. The Heart Failure program encompasses specialized areas such as infiltrative cardiomyopathies, CardioOncology, and Heart Failure with preserved ejection fraction, alongside comprehensive disease management strategies.
Clinical Responsibilities
The selected faculty member will be responsible for providing both inpatient and outpatient heart failure services, including management of congestive heart failure, transplant evaluations, and mechanical circulatory support. Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree, be board certified in cardiology, and either board certified or board eligible in Advanced Heart Failure & Transplantation.
Academic Qualifications
Applicants should possess academic credentials suitable for a faculty appointment at a minimum level of Assistant Professor and must be eligible for an unrestricted Pennsylvania State Medical License. Both graduating fellows and experienced practitioners are encouraged to apply.
