Job Summary

The Department of Biomedical Education and Data Science at Temple University's Lewis Katz School of Medicine is seeking a highly qualified Anatomical Sciences Educator/Scholar to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in teaching professional-level courses in three different colleges: the Schools of Medicine, Dentistry, and Podiatric Medicine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach gross anatomy, microanatomy, embryology, and neuroanatomy curriculum content to students in the Schools of Medicine, Dentistry, and Podiatric Medicine.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching methods to enhance student learning outcomes.
  • Contribute to the development of new courses and programs in the anatomical sciences.
  • Collaborate with faculty members to design and implement curriculum changes.
  • Participate in departmental and institutional service activities.
Qualifications
  • Terminal doctoral degree (Ph.D., D.O., M.D., or equivalent) in a relevant field.
  • Experience teaching in the anatomical disciplines, including human anatomy, histology (microanatomy), neuroanatomy, and/or embryology.
  • Recent graduates of teaching track PhD programs in the anatomical sciences are encouraged to apply.
