Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopaedic Surgeon who is passionate about joining a prestigious and well-established department. This role is ideal for individuals interested in managing complex cases, enhancing infection control measures, and engaging in quality improvement initiatives while also contributing to the education of medical students, residents, and fellows.

Department Highlights

  • The department boasts a diverse team of sixteen (16) full and part-time faculty members, each specializing in various areas including Sports Medicine, Hand Surgery, Joint Replacement/Adult Reconstruction, Orthopedic Trauma, Spine, Orthopaedic Oncology, Foot & Ankle, General Orthopedics, and non-operative sports medicine.
  • Our faculty is dedicated to delivering exceptional orthopedic care to all patients, emphasizing research and academic excellence.
  • Surgeons within the department are frequently recognized in regional and national listings of top physicians.
  • Practices are conducted across four well-equipped locations in the Philadelphia area, each supported by a team of board-certified orthopedic surgeons, licensed physical therapists, and certified athletic trainers, with radiology services available at all sites.
  • Temple Health fosters a collaborative practice environment that prioritizes quality patient care, research, education, and professional development, promoting collegial relationships among faculty.

Candidate Qualifications

Applicants must hold an M.D. or D.O. degree, be board eligible or board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery, and have completed an ACGME-accredited residency and fellowship program.
