Job Overview
Under the supervision of the Patient Access Services manager, the Senior Patient Access Representative possesses a comprehensive understanding of all responsibilities associated with Patient Access.

This role entails assisting patients throughout the registration process for both scheduled and unscheduled appointments. The individual is equipped to finalize the registration by gathering precise demographic details, insurance data, and securing prior authorizations as necessary. They are also responsible for completing financial clearances and collecting any known patient liabilities prior to or at the time of service.

Essential Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare, specifically within Patient Access or a business office environment.

Desirable Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration, or equivalent education/experience.
- Certification as a Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) or a related certification.
