As a Valued Teacher, Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Guiding, coaching, and mentoring less experienced educators in your classroom; modeling effective practices and providing constructive feedback.
  • Overseeing overall classroom management, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning atmosphere.
  • Serving as a role model, utilizing a growth mindset to inspire young learners and foster a passion for education.
  • Implementing our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, working with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children in a manner that aligns with each child's unique needs.
  • Creating a secure, nurturing environment where children can thrive through play and learning.
  • Maintaining regular communication with parents, sharing updates on their children's progress and achievements through various channels.
  • Supporting your center's success by collaborating with staff and leadership to meet enrollment and engagement objectives.
  • Building strong relationships with families and colleagues to cultivate a dynamic environment where play and learning coexist seamlessly.

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated expertise in working with children and early childhood education.
  • High school diploma or GED (for Assistant Teachers).
  • Proof of current enrollment in an accredited Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in Early Childhood Education or a related field (for Infant/Toddler/2s Teacher).
  • NYC Teaching Certification B-2nd (for Certified Preschool Teacher).
  • CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.
All candidates must meet applicable background screening or state licensing requirements for the role.

Compensation: $28.00 per hour
