As a Valued Teacher, Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Mentoring and guiding less experienced educators, modeling effective teaching behaviors and providing constructive feedback.
  • Overseeing classroom management to ensure a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning atmosphere.
  • Serving as a role model, fostering a growth mindset to inspire a passion for learning in young children.
  • Implementing our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, catering to the unique needs of Infants, Toddlers, and Preschool children.
  • Creating a secure and nurturing environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Maintaining regular communication with parents to share updates on their children's progress and experiences through various channels.
  • Collaborating with center staff and leadership to support enrollment and engagement goals.
  • Building strong relationships with families and colleagues to create a dynamic learning environment.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience working with children in early childhood settings.
  • High school diploma or GED (for Assistant Teacher roles).
  • Proof of current enrollment in an accredited Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in Early Childhood Education or a related field (for Infant/Toddler/2s Teacher roles).
  • NYC Teaching Certification B-2nd (for Certified Preschool Teacher roles).
  • CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.
All candidates must meet applicable background screening or state licensing requirements for the position.
