Senior Director of Higher Education Research

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Director of Higher Education Research to join our team at the American Dental Education Association (ADEA). As a key member of our research team, you will play a critical role in producing educational research products for the Association and its membership.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the annual ADEA Dental School Faculty Census and the biennial ADEA Allied Dental Program Directors Survey, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
- Manage all aspects of these higher education research projects, from establishing project timelines to report writing and data analysis.
- Collaborate with ADEA members and stakeholders to ensure accurate data collection and submission, and to identify areas for growth and expansion.
- Work with the ADEA Vice President, Allied Dental Education and Faculty Development to develop and implement research projects focused on allied dental education.
- Develop and manage data documentation for these higher education research projects, in collaboration with the ADEA Senior Director of Data Analytics and the SVP for Policy and Education Research.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including ADEA members, colleagues, and administrative leadership at dental education programs.
- A master's degree and eight years of higher education research experience, or a Ph.D. degree and six years of relevant experience.
- Expertise in survey design, methodology, and strategies to increase survey response rates, as well as data processing and analysis.
- Experience with survey software, such as Qualtrics, and proficiency in SPSS, Python, and SQL.
- Strong project management and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
We offer a competitive salary range of $124k to $133k, as well as excellent benefits, including health, vision, dental, and life insurance, wellness benefits, a 35-hour work week with a hybrid work schedule, generous paid leave, and a 403(b) retirement plan with 10% employer contribution.
