Job Title: Assistant Director of Dining Services

Chartwells Higher Education is seeking an experienced and dynamic Assistant Director of Dining Services to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day food service operations in our residential dining hall.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and lead a team of associates to deliver exceptional customer service and high-quality food products.
  • Develop and implement new culinary programs and menus in conjunction with the marketing and culinary teams.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Manage, train, and develop associates to achieve business objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of food service management experience.
  • Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, healthcare, and/or related food service operations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Financial experience and business acumen skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.
  • Associate's degree is preferred.
