Amentum is seeking a highly motivated and self-starting Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the office, including records and file management, employee in- and out-processing, and correspondence drafting and routing.
  • Office Management: Assist in managing DOD, DSS, and local office policies and programs, including office equipment and supply inventory maintenance.
  • Travel Planning: Assist in planning and coordinating travel arrangements, including booking flights and hotels.
  • Conference Room Coordination: Coordinate the use of conference rooms and equipment.
  • Task Management: Manage task management systems, including inputting and managing data bases as directed.
  • Training and Development: Assist in the execution of office training programs.

Requirements:

  • Active Secret Clearance: Must have an active Secret clearance.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 2 years of administrative experience required.
  • Skills: Strong typing skills, organizational skills, and fluency in English, both oral and written.
  • Physical Demands: May be required to lift general office items (20-30lbs).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Applications: Intermediate to high proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and MS Teams.
  • Defense Travel System: Familiarity with the Defense Travel System and timekeeping management programs a plus.

Work Environment:

This is an in-office position, with no unusual hazards. The selected candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced office environment, with constant sitting while using a computer, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, and constant use of speech/hearing abilities to communicate.
