Position Overview:

The Multi-Branch Operations Manager at CLAAS is tasked with driving the expansion of a diverse dealership network while maintaining exemplary customer service standards.

This role is pivotal in fostering a culture that resonates with the CLAAS brand ethos.

The Operations Manager possesses the essential skills to effectively oversee business performance across multiple retail sites, focusing on: Profitability in equipment sales (both new and pre-owned), Parts & Service operations, and optimal inventory management.

This position is charged with establishing sustainable practices that bolster all functional sectors through adept management of finance, administration, personnel, and safety protocols.

Accountable for revenue generation, the Operations Manager will define and execute standards and strategies for tactical growth in collaboration with CLAAS North America leadership.

Oversees and regulates operating costs, including budget management within designated regions. Manages after-sales support to the CLAAS customer base, ensuring service excellence that surpasses industry benchmarks (Best in Class). Evaluates and identifies operational gaps, formulating and executing strategies aimed at enhancing, optimizing, and broadening business opportunities.

Acts as a catalyst for change, aligning and implementing business decisions and relationships in accordance with the strategic vision of CLAAS North America.

Conducts market analysis to enhance business penetration and brand visibility.

Ensures that CLAAS branding and corporate identity are effectively represented within retail environments, maximizing market impact.

Collaborates with North America Human Resources to recruit, train, develop, and evaluate staff effectively. Identifies employee strengths and nurtures their growth through consistent coaching and feedback. Conducts performance evaluations promptly and provides ongoing performance insights. Takes necessary corrective actions in alignment with company policies.

Works closely with the North America Human Resources Department to address disciplinary issues, resolve grievances, and manage other personnel-related matters.

Ensures compliance of direct reports with all local, regional, and national regulations concerning business practices, employment, and safety standards.

Adheres to established company values, practices, policies, and procedures consistently. Supports compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards. Demonstrates regular and punctual attendance at the designated work location.

Candidate Profile:


A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Agricultural Economics, or a related field is preferred. A minimum of 7 years of experience in managing and expanding retail operations within relevant industry sectors.

An entrepreneurial mindset with a strong inclination to innovate and pursue new opportunities. A comprehensive understanding of how Parts and Service Departments operate, contributing to store profitability and customer satisfaction.

A business-oriented individual with practical industry experience.
Proven capability to manage a multi-store environment while adhering to customer-centric directives.
Exceptional sales management skills, along with strong networking and negotiation abilities. Capacity to persuade and influence stakeholders.
Familiarity with captive dealer networks.
Advanced experience in team leadership and management, including training and staff development.
Demonstrated success in optimizing dealer performance and growth.
Proven track record in successfully launching new product lines into the market.
Strong customer relationship management skills.

An effective change agent and decision-maker with a clear vision and the ability to implement measurable improvements. Proficient in reading and interpreting financial statements.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and tact. Knowledge of local, regional, and national regulations governing business practices, employment, and safety.

A background in agriculture is preferred but not mandatory. Must be capable of meeting deadlines and managing a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment with meticulous attention to detail.
