Job Description

Job Summary:

Chevrolet of Smithtown is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Automotive Sales Representative to join our Business Development Center team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers, identifying their vehicle needs, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with customers to understand their vehicle needs and preferences.
  • Lead Follow-up: Monitor and contact internet leads to convert them into sales opportunities.
  • Appointment Setting: Set, confirm, and follow up on appointments for sales and service.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate with customers through phone, email, and in-person interactions to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Survey Administration: Administer surveys to customers to gather feedback and improve customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a BDC center or call center preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills, ability to establish rapport and build relationships, strong multi-tasking and organization skills, basic computer proficiency, and verifiable work history.
