  • Manage infrastructure systems, including virtualization technologies and data storage solutions, ensuring they meet performance and security standards.
  • Coordinate backup systems and applications, ensuring all data is securely backed up and recoverable, while monitoring for any operational issues.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring systems to proactively address potential issues affecting system availability.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies to enhance our enterprise IT systems and operations.
  • Provide risk assessments and recommendations regarding system features, capacity, and integrations.
  • Develop and document best practices and operational procedures to ensure quality control.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and exercises to ensure readiness for unplanned events.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  1. A degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field such as computer science or information systems.
  2. A minimum of six years of experience in an enterprise technology environment, specifically with Microsoft Server Operating Systems and Active Directory.

Preferred Skills:

Ideal candidates will also have:

  • Experience in managing virtualized server environments.
  • Proficiency in Active Directory management.
  • Experience with enterprise monitoring solutions.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts, including TCP/IP and DNS.
  • Relevant certifications such as MCSE or CompTIA Security+.
