Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business strategies to increase customer engagement, drive sales, and optimize profitability.
  • Lead and manage a team of Department Managers, providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and promoting a positive brand image.
  • Manage inventory, labor, and sales reports, making data-driven decisions to drive business growth.
  • Oversee and audit cycle counts, price changes, and gun log paperwork to ensure compliance with ATF regulations.
  • Develop and implement sales training programs, ensuring all employees receive the required training on a semi-annual basis.
  • Work closely with buying staff to recognize sales trends and customer needs, making informed purchasing decisions to drive sales growth.
  • Manage store events, hours, and employment opportunities on the Company website, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
  • Address all issues that arise from staff or customers, providing prompt and effective solutions to maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Proven successful experience as a retail manager, preferably in the outdoor industry.
  • Powerful leading skills, business orientation, and customer management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, good verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.

  • This position is considered moderately active and involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.

  • The employee may be required to exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee will experience a moderate noise level (i.e. business office with computers, phone, printers, and light traffic).
