Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and making product recommendations to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to safety and quality standards.
  • Assist with inventory management, including labeling, stocking, and inventorying merchandise.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, including features, benefits, and promotions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales and profit goals.
  • Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Identify and report any safety risks or issues to management.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous retail or customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of Kroger's policies and procedures.
