About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Professional to join our team at Blue Origin. As a Procurement Manager for Space Systems, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic procurement solutions to support the company's mission to develop reusable, safe, and low-cost space vehicles and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies to meet the needs of Blue Origin's space systems
  • Manage and negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and services
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate supply chain risks
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure a stable and reliable supply chain
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in procurement or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of AS9100 standards and experience with engineering data
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) Certification
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • Current active DOD Secret Security Clearance and/or Special Access
  • Experience in Avionics
