About the Role

Blue Origin is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist II to join our team. As a key member of our procurement organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic procurement solutions to support the company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies to meet business objectives
  • Manage and negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate supply chain risks
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services
  • Analyze and report on procurement metrics to inform business decisions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in procurement or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of procurement software and systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) certification
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Active DOD Secret Security Clearance
