Job Summary:

The Night Auditor is responsible for the preparation and disposition of all Night Audit work. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate and efficient processing of financial transactions.

Responsibilities:
  • Front Desk Operations: Register guests, make reservations, and prepare daily reports.
  • Financial Transactions: Balance transactions, conduct security walks, and maintain cashiering responsibilities.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Run reports as required for Food and Beverage audit, complete the Night Audit checklist, and balance the day's work.
  • Customer Service: Handle guest requests, respond to emergency situations, and maintain a friendly and warm demeanor.
  • Security and Safety: Follow safety and emergency procedures, maintain proper record keeping, and ensure all areas are locked and secured.
  • Team Collaboration: Maintain radio contact with other associates, train new Night Auditors, and complete any reports as requested by management.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • College course work in a related field helpful.
  • Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
  • Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of Accounting Principles.
  • Must be proficient in Windows operating systems, company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing.
