Job Summary

The Night Auditor is responsible for the preparation and disposition of all Night Audit work. This role requires a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Register guests and make reservations
  • Prepare daily reports and balance transactions
  • Conduct security walks and ensure the hotel's safety and security
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Perform cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
  • Operate the Front Office computer system
  • Fulfill all Front Office functions between 11pm and 7am
  • Follow safety and emergency procedures
  • Maintain proper record keeping
  • Be familiar with all company policies and house rules
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • College course work in a related field helpful
  • Previous supervisory responsibility preferred
  • Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of Accounting Principles
  • Must be able to problem solve and troubleshoot in order to resolve guest issues
  • Must be proficient in Windows operating systems and company-approved spreadsheets and word processing
