Position Overview:


The IT Finance Associate Specialist will play a crucial role within the DAI Technology Finance and Procurement Team, overseeing DAI's IT contracts and procurement activities in alignment with the office of the CIO.

This position involves close collaboration with the DAI Technology Finance and Procurement Team to ensure effective management of contracts, vendors, and procurement processes, adhering to DAI's policies and client requirements.


The ideal candidate should possess experience in a dynamic work environment, showcasing a proven ability to learn swiftly and adapt to new challenges.

This role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, as it interacts with various departments within DAI.

The Associate Specialist must effectively manage processes, communicate proficiently, and demonstrate advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365 Suite.

This is a full-time, permanent role that allows for remote work arrangements.

Responsibilities:
IT Finance and Procurement

Manage ticketing for IT procurement requests, adhering to established procedures for triage and response. Escalate issues as necessary.


Oversee the IT Finance & Procurement team inbox, ensuring timely responses and escalating issues when required.

Handle the reconciliation and reporting of the Corporate IT Procurement Card account.

Manage the reconciliation process for DAI's Amazon Business Account and ensure all necessary documentation is maintained for accurate and timely reconciliations, collaborating with vendors and internal clients as needed.


Support the initiative to transition all DAI Technology P-card purchases to DAI's accounting and management system.

Assist in the creation and preparation of allocation reports for software cost distribution to DAI's projects.

Respond promptly to allocation-related inquiries.

Create, update, and maintain corporate IT hardware and service requisitions.

Ensure timely updates and maintenance of the IT Contracts management database.

Act as a liaison between IT and vendors for software, hardware, services, and renewals.

Collaborate with Help Desk regularly to ensure adequate inventory management.

Recommend improvements to IT procurement processes and support the implementation of these enhancements.

Other Responsibilities

Manage web accounts for the team, ensuring password security through DAI's password management tool.

Qualifications & Skills:

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 4:
Over 2 years of relevant professional experience and a college degree. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Grade 5:
At least 4 years of relevant professional experience and a college degree. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Demonstrated understanding of Information Technology and procurement processes, particularly in IT procurement.

Professional proficiency in MS Office suite, with advanced Excel skills including the use of complex formulas, pivot tables, and charts.

Strong attention to detail and self-directed organizational skills, capable of prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines.

Able to work collaboratively within a decentralized team with minimal oversight and handle confidential information with discretion.


Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to engage professionally with diverse audiences.


Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels and external clients from various backgrounds.

Flexibility to adjust work hours as needed to support teams across different time zones.

Understanding of the significance of diversity and inclusion, with the ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse environment.

Authorized to work in the specified locations without employer sponsorship.


Preferred, but not required:
Experience with SharePoint and data analytics software like PowerBi.

Knowledge of US Government Procurement and FAR regulations.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and technical skills.



Working Hours:

Serbia:
Expected work hours are 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. CET.

United States:
Expected work hours are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. EST.
