Field Support Specialist

This role is perfect for individuals who excel in customer service, possess strong communication skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and is willing to commute as needed. As a Field Support Specialist, no two days will look the same. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while handling various financial tasks like making collection calls, taking loan applications to determine credit eligibility, closing loans, cash handling, preparing taxes and other administrative duties as needed.
As a Field Support Specialist, you will:
- Work in our centralized branch location to complete onboarding and a 5 - week training program
- Handle inbound and outbound calls for multiple locations, and support the branch's operations
- Once training is complete, you will be assigned to a nearby branch permanently and transition to the role of Financial Services Representative where you will focus solely on branch operations
- Assist with loan applications and handle inbound and outbound calls
- Provides excellent customer service by assisting customers on the phone and in the office with:
- Questions
- Concerns
- Product availability and knowledge of the product
- Services past due accounts per Company policies, including:
- Completing call route daily
- Performing skip-tracing on select accounts
- Updates information at each customer contact, including:
- Update the borrower's record
- Service loans (renewal, referral, increase, etc.)
- Promote all products available including tax preparation
- Takes loan application and processes for approval/denial
- Posts payments (cash, money order, check, debit card, inter-branch)
- Prepares loan documents and executes loan closing on current renewal loans
- Balances assigned cash drawer daily
- Prepares and completes the daily branch bank deposit
- Transports money (operating cash, interim deposits, daily deposits) to and from the bank
- Maintains daily delinquency reports
- Completes weekly progress reports
- Assists with making and understanding monthly/yearly branch operating standards
- Maintains an organized, clean, and professional work environment
- Completes the 5 - week training period and any additional assigned training requirements
- Other duties include but are not limited to:
- Call approved and unmade applications to book the loan
- Follow the Former Borrower paid out program daily
- Send complete and accurate credit denial letters within 30 days from the date of application
- Disburse branch expenses as instructed by Branch Manager
- Must have a valid driver's license, not in jeopardy of suspension
- Have access to a dependable vehicle and the vehicle must have vehicle insurance
- High school diploma/ GED or equivalent work experience
- Must have the ability to obtain licensing to sell insurance products
- Must be able to demonstrate self-confidence and organizational skills
- Must be able to work well with a team and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
- To perform this job successfully, an Associate must have basic computer skills
- Required to sit for extended periods of time
- Occasionally may have to kneel, stoop, or bend for approximately 25% of the time
- Occasionally may be required to perform light lifting
- Occasionally may travel by car from location to location
- Office environment.
- Occasional travel may be required.
