Job Title: Finance Manager

Job Summary:

AT&T is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to lead and mentor a team of finance staff in various responsibilities, including month-end close, customer reporting, and invoice processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and train a team of finance staff to assist in month-end close responsibilities, customer reporting, and invoice processing.
  • Support the monthly closing requirements, including revenue recognition, cost and expense reporting, P&L, and balance sheet.
  • Manage responses to external and internal audit requests.
  • Oversee and report annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and associated financial analysis.
  • Maintain an efficient cost control system, monitoring and controlling contractual direct costs and associated indirect costs, including WBS structure management and margin analysis.
  • Track capital asset financing agreements.
  • Prepare reports and present findings and recommendations to management.
  • Monitor and report on business performance at multiple levels and in response to ad-hoc reporting.
  • Proactively communicate actual or potential trends and material events.
  • May be required to respond to after-hours requests as required in a 24x7 environment or as needed to meet program SLAs.
  • Monitor and approve program travel requests while finding efficiencies and cost savings opportunities.
  • Ad-hoc tasking as required in regard to customer inquiries, process improvement efforts, and other one-off tasks.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Seven (7) years' experience with financial planning, analysis, and operations in a government contracting setting, with at least three (3) years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent project management/leadership skills.
  • Excellent desktop skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Access).
  • Requires a strong knowledge and experience with FAR, CAS, and GAAP compliance.
