Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious School Bus Driver and Cook to join our team at McCormick Preschool. As the School Bus Driver, you will be responsible for the safe operation of the school bus (van) while adhering to a strict schedule and ensuring your passengers' well-being. The ideal candidate has a Driver's License and previous experience as a bus driver or has completed bus driver training. Or at least has driven a large van. If you have an impeccable driving record, high safety standards, and enjoy being around children, we want to hear from you. The second part of the job would be cooking and preparing breakfast and lunch for the children as well as having snack prepared by the end of your shift. You would have to have to clean the kitchen. We are also want you to have your ServSafe Certification. If you don't have it that is ok we will pay for you to get it.

Responsibilities
  • Pick up and drop off children at designated bus stops
  • Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Conduct regular vehicle safety inspections and report any maintenance or repair issues promptly
  • Assist children with boarding and exiting the bus in a safe manner
  • Engage with children in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Cook all meals
  • Clean Kitchen
  • Order Food for the following week
Qualifications
  • Driver's License
  • Clean driving record with no recent accidents or traffic citations
  • Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Ability to follow GPS directions
  • ServSafe Certification
