**Job Summary**

LCH Lab. Corp. of America Holdings is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Laboratory Specialist to join our team at a Wisconsin hospital campus in Franklin. This position offers a fast-paced and challenging environment where you can make a difference in improving health and lives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Determine specimen acceptability for testing and analysis.
  • Perform technical procedures according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control measures.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Make technical decisions and problem-solve to resolve complex issues.
  • Report test results accurately and timely to ensure effective patient care.
  • Perform maintenance and quality control procedures to ensure laboratory equipment and supplies are in good working order.
  • Replenish testing bench supplies and assist with specimen processing to ensure efficient laboratory operations.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as medical technology or a related life science.
  • Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience, with a strong understanding of laboratory procedures and protocols.
  • Certification in medical technology or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve laboratory goals and objectives.
  • Proficient with computers and laboratory information systems (LIS) to manage and analyze data.
  • Attention to detail and strong communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and patients.
  • Ability to pass a standardized color vision screen and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work overtime or other shifts as needed to meet laboratory demands.
