LCH Lab. Corp. of America Holdings is seeking a dedicated Medical Laboratory Specialist to become a vital part of our team. This role is situated within a dynamic and stimulating environment where your contributions can significantly enhance patient health and well-being.

Work Schedule: Evening shift, Monday through Friday, with a weekend rotation every third week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess specimen suitability for laboratory analysis.
  • Execute technical procedures in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Oversee and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
  • Make informed technical decisions and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Accurately and promptly report laboratory results.
  • Conduct maintenance and quality assurance activities.
  • Restock laboratory supplies as needed.
  • Assist in the processing of specimens.
  • Ensure a safe and compliant working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
  • At least one year of experience in clinical laboratory testing.
  • Certification is preferred.
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Must successfully complete a standardized color vision assessment.
  • Flexibility to work overtime or alternate shifts as required.
