Position Summary:


The Clinical Laboratory Specialist (ASCP) is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and precise laboratory test results that are crucial for diagnosing and managing various health conditions.

This role involves utilizing advanced automation, computerized systems, and manual techniques to ensure high-quality testing. The specialist will oversee quality control measures and the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments.
In this position, you will handle a variety of specimens, including blood, tissue, fecal matter, sputum, urine, spinal fluid, and other bodily fluids, which may carry infectious agents such as HIV and other bloodborne pathogens.

Essential Qualifications:

Educational Background:
Associate's Degree in Medical Technology (Required)
Certification from ASCP - American Society for Clinical Pathology is mandatory, including MLT - Medical Laboratory Technologist Certification.


Completion of a two-year field of study in applied science or medical laboratory technology, which includes hands-on experience in a laboratory or formal military training, followed by successful completion of the Board of Registry examination from the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or an equivalent certifying body.

Evening shifts are required.
