Position Summary: The Assistant Branch Manager Floater will support the Business Acquisition Manager in overseeing branch operations and sales in line with bank policies and procedures. This role involves taking on supervisory duties in designated branches as needed.

The ABM Floater will be assigned to various branches within the region to address staffing requirements for unspecified durations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume the duties of Branch Manager in their absence.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service.
  • Foster a professional and efficient work environment.
  • Engage in branch activities organized by management.
  • Encourage teamwork and participation in branch goals.
  • Ensure staff awareness of the Branch Activity Calendar and Incentive Plan to promote engagement.
  • Adhere to all Bank Secrecy Act regulations and customer identification protocols.
  • Uphold the security and safety of employees and customers by following the Security Program.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all bank products and services.
  • Assist in training and supervising branch staff to achieve high productivity levels.
  • Stay updated on and implement all bank policies and procedures promptly.
  • Support the Branch Manager in ensuring compliance with all operational policies and regulations.
  • Safeguard all bank assets in accordance with established policies.
  • Responsible for opening and closing branches as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Oversee vault operations and cash drawer management while adhering to dual control protocols.
  • Assist branch management with audits, certifications, reconciliations, and other duties as outlined in policies.
  • Review branch reports as per established procedures.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer information in line with the Privacy Policy.
  • Understand and apply Human Resource policies as established by the bank.
  • Capable of performing all duties of a Customer Service Representative and Teller as described in their respective roles.
  • Assist in various other areas of the bank/branch as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma; a college degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of banking experience with a focus on supervisory, sales, and customer service skills.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales abilities.
  • Basic management and human resource knowledge.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to different branch locations as required.
