Neurosurgery Associate

Advanced Neurosurgery Associates is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our Neurosurgical Team. Our team provides unparalleled expertise in adult and pediatric neurosurgery. The successful candidate will participate in all aspects of clinical management, including therapeutic and diagnostic procedures, interpretation of diagnostic tests, prescribing medication, patient education, inpatient and outpatient consultations, and cutting-edge clinical research.

Our practice is located in Northern New Jersey, with close proximity to Central and Southern New Jersey and New York City. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our Neurosurgeons to provide high-quality patient care.
• Work as a First Assist in various surgical procedures at Regional Hospitals and Ambulatory Surgical Centers.
• Perform pre-operative and post-operative care, including rounding on surgical and referred patients.
• Provide quality patient education to patients in our offices.
• Some on-call and weekend responsibilities on a rotating basis shared amongst 4 Physician Assistants.

Requirements:

• Physician Assistant with a minimum of 2 years experience.
• Master's Degree from an accredited PA program.
• Licensure in the State of New Jersey.
• PA Board Certification.
• CDS, DEA, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
• A team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
