Job Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and service to our customers. You will assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including dispensing medications, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the dispensing of medications and processing of prescriptions
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Operate pharmacy systems and cash registers
  • Assist with inventory management and ordering of pharmaceuticals
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on industry developments
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Pharmacy Technician certification (PTCB) preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register
