Electrical Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team at Freedom Recruiters USA.

• Prepare quantity take-offs of electrical and low voltage systems
• Prepare detailed estimates including assigning material and labor values to take-offs
• Acquire vendor pricing on specialty materials, equipment, and systems
• Partner with other Estimators to ensure a complete scope of work is defined and pricing review
• Evaluate and assist with subcontractor and vendor scope and pricing review
• Attend scope review meetings
• Prepare scope letters and proposals
• Participate in job-walks, project kick-off, and turn-over meetings
• Prepare and manage communications internally and with general contractors or construction managers for assigned projects

• Minimum 3-year experience in estimating commercial electrical construction projects
• Preferred college degree in electrical engineering or construction management
• Knowledge of electrical power, lighting, and low voltage electrical systems
• Candidate must possess a thorough understanding of electrical design documents in various stages of design completion
• Working knowledge of Bluebeam and Accubid estimating software is preferred
• Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment and independently
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communications skills
