About the Role

Upsolve is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Philanthropy to lead our fundraising efforts. This critical role is essential in supporting our mission to help low-income Americans overcome debt and improve their financial health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies that align with Upsolve's mission and goals.
  • Identify and research potential funding sources, including individuals, foundations, and government programs.
  • Write and submit grant proposals to foundations, corporations, and government entities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with individual donors, foundations, and government agencies.
  • Work closely with the executive team and other departments to ensure alignment and support for fundraising initiatives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of experience in nonprofit fundraising and development
  • Proven track record of successfully securing funding from individual donors, foundations, and government entities
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills
  • Familiarity with donor management software and fundraising platforms
