We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our team at OU Health's General Internal Medicine Clinic. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Job Summary:Under the general supervision of a physician or other medical personnel, the LPN will administer medications, observe and record patient conditions, and provide care according to established nursing plans. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:- Administer medications safely and accurately
- Observe and record patient conditions and reactions to treatments
- Provide care according to established nursing plans
- Collect and document comprehensive patient data
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Assist in the coordination of care delivery and promote a safe environment
- Current LPN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
- One or more years of experience in a healthcare setting (preferred)
