OU Health is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Medicine Stepdown/Intermediate unit, working night shifts on a part-time basis. As a valued member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
About the Role:- Assist with nursing assessments, data collection, and vital sign monitoring for assigned patients.
- Provide care according to established nursing plans and observe changes in patient condition, notifying supervisory personnel as needed.
- Administer medications, prepare patients for physical examinations, and assist physicians during exams.
- Participate in the Collaborative Care Model, working with a team to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Current LPN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact LPN License (eNLC).
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association.
- One or more years of experience preferred, but not required.
