Accounts Payable Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be proficient in various financial software systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts payable data
  • Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits
  • Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for accurately
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Maintain vendor files and correspond with vendors regarding payment inquiries
Requirements:
  • Proven work experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks
  • Familiarity with debits, credits, taxes, and account reconciliation processes
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field is a plus

Please note that AP Electric & Generators, LLC does not offer a standard healthcare plan but does offer an ICHRA, individual coverage health reimbursement arrangement. We provide a reimbursement of a minimum of $300 per month or $3600 annually on the plan offered.
