About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Roots Natural Kitchen. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by Example: Demonstrate a strong work ethic, lead by example, and promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure seamless execution of all restaurant operations, including food preparation, service, and maintenance of a clean and safe environment.
  • Team Management: Supervise and develop a high-performing team, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure excellent customer service and sales growth.
  • Customer Service: Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, ensuring that every guest has a positive experience and returns to our restaurant.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, monitor sales trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize inventory and reduce waste.
  • Financial Management: Oversee financial performance, including labor costs, inventory, and sales, to ensure profitability and growth.
  • Marketing and Promotions: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing strategies, promotions, and events to drive sales and increase brand awareness.
  • Training and Development: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to ensure that team members have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and company policies to minimize risk and protect the business.

Requirements

  • Proven Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role, with a proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams and driving sales growth.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members, customers, and vendors.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in restaurant management software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant technical tools.
