Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will assist the Management Team in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of employees to achieve sales and profitability goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Management Team in managing daily restaurant operations, including inventory management, scheduling, and customer service.
  • Lead a team of employees to achieve sales and profitability goals, while maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met, and that quality is maintained at all times.
  • Assist with purchasing food products, overseeing correct invoicing, storage, and sealing of food products to ensure quality and freshness.
  • Maintain a clean and organized restaurant, including the kitchen, dining area, and restrooms.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve sales, profitability, and store performance.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest issues and opportunities as they arise.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of restaurant management experience, including full-service, fast food, or convenience experience.
  • State alcohol-server and Manager certification.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 35 hours per week and work flexible hours to manage and operate the restaurant effectively.
  • Competency of basic computer functions.
  • An understanding of training and development concepts.
  • Ability to foster teamwork and lead a team of employees.
  • Bilingual, a plus.
