Director / VP, Strategic Partnerships

We're seeking an experienced Director / VP, Strategic Partnerships to lead the development, strategy, and execution of sponsorship sales initiatives across our portfolio of brands. This executive will be responsible for driving new revenue streams, creating value for our brands, and delivering impactful, innovative sponsorship programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of securing large sponsorship deals and will be able to collaborate effectively with internal departments to ensure successful execution of sponsorship agreements and deliverables.

About the Job:
- Build and implement comprehensive sponsorship sales strategies that drive revenue growth and enhance brand partnerships.
- Ideate, identify, and secure new partnership deals across the Marquee brand portfolio to maximize revenue for the organization.
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as marketing, brand, PR/comms, and legal, to ensure successful execution of sponsorship agreements and deliverables.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging markets to capitalize on sponsorship opportunities.
- Develop and present customized sponsorship proposals to prospective clients, showcasing value and alignment with their brand objectives.
- Oversee the budget for sponsorship sales, ensuring goals are met while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
- Create sponsorship offerings to include innovative and engaging activations that enhance fan and customer experiences.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in partnership/sponsorship sales, with a proven track record of securing large sponsorship deals.
- Experience with ideating and selling into branded consumer events.
- Demonstrated experience managing and motivating sales teams to achieve high performance.
- Extensive network of relationships with brand executives and decision-makers in relevant industries.
