Compensation for this position ranges from $12 to $14 per hour, based on experience.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome patrons and guide them to their tables or waiting areas.
  • Provide menus and address any inquiries from guests.
  • Optimize table assignments to balance the workload for the serving staff while accommodating guests' preferences.
  • Inform guests about ongoing promotions and introduce their servers to ensure a seamless transition to service.
  • Control the flow of patrons entering the dining and bar areas, providing accurate wait times when necessary.
  • Assist guests with their reservations upon arrival and facilitate future bookings.
  • Handle incoming phone calls to the restaurant.
  • Process take-out orders as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized host stand for a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Perform any additional tasks as required for the role.

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in restaurant hosting or serving is preferred.
  • Experience in a customer service or hospitality position is required.
  • Strong communication skills for greeting and bidding farewell to guests.
  • Ability to convey guests' needs to servers, bussers, and management effectively.
  • Proficient communication skills over the phone.
  • A friendly demeanor with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Capability to stand for extended periods.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
