Machine Clothing Applications Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Machine Clothing Applications Engineer to enhance our team at Andritz. As an expert in machine clothing solutions, you will be instrumental in the design and implementation of products tailored for our operations. Reporting to the Director of Forming Technology, your role will encompass providing essential support across various divisions including Sales, Manufacturing, Customer Service, Research, and Marketing concerning machine clothing products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define design specifications and accessories for Manufacturing based on client requirements and knowledge of paper machine operations.
  • Engage in product demonstrations, application discussions, and evaluations of paper machinery.
  • Collaborate with Research and Product Engineering teams to innovate new market-ready products.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop product branding, promotional campaigns, and related literature.
  • Deliver monthly performance reports on products to your supervisor.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients and stay attuned to their requirements.
  • Oversee trial installations of products and communicate outcomes to your supervisor.
  • Prepare impactful PowerPoint presentations for the Sales team.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Technical Degree with experience in the paper industry.
  • Familiarity with the design and application of paper machine clothing.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Andritz product technology and paper machine operations.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and leadership abilities.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively in a team setting and travel as necessary.
