Job Title: Safety Manager with Clearance

Advantage SCI is seeking an experienced Safety Manager with Clearance to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring a comprehensive Occupational Health and Safety program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of position-specific health and medical standards for law enforcement personnel.
  • Develop and implement health and safety programs, including random drug testing and suicide prevention initiatives.
  • Conduct office assessments to identify and address safety vulnerabilities.
  • Investigate hazardous conditions and equipment to identify and analyze hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Participate in the incident management system and respond to emergency incidents.
  • Prepare written reports with findings and recommended corrective actions.
  • Coordinate and administer safety and occupational health programs.
  • Train others on hazard management using established safety codes and standards.
  • Provide stakeholders with information and materials necessary to develop safety-related procedures and guidance.
  • Analyze and recommend safety, fire, medical, and emergency equipment for the organization.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, biology, chemistry, or occupational safety and health.
  • 5-7 years of occupational and health safety experience in the federal sector.
  • Current government SECRET clearance.
  • Certifications in First Aid, CPR, AED, and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Safety and Health Manager (CSHM).
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and OSHA recordkeeping requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, and data analysis skills.
Working Conditions:

Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time. Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and reach on a daily basis. Able to walk stairs regularly and distances between facilities. Able to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally. Noise level: Low to moderate.
