**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Global Account Executive to join our team at Visa. As a key member of our Global Client team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, driving business growth, and delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Work with the Global Western Union Lead, the Client, and internal and external stakeholders to maximize usage of the Visa network.
- Optimize Programs for Delivery and Growth: Ensure programs under global account management are optimized for delivery and growth by working with regional and local teams.
- Manage Complex Projects and Initiatives: Manage the successful execution of various Visa projects and initiatives, including Global Digital Issuance, Visa Direct Account, Card and Wallet, as well as Marketing and Consultancy and new VAS product implementations.
- Develop Project Plans and Executive Reporting: Develop project plans together with the Product teams and produce executive reporting.
- Manage Complex Visa Rule Waiver Processes: Manage complex Visa rule waiver processes, non-compliance cases, and client escalations.
- Support Shared Investment Funds: Support the deployment of shared investment funds globally and locally, in accordance with the funds mandated purpose.
- Coordinate and Drive Collaborative Efforts: Coordinate and drive a collaborative and focused effort including business development, account executive, and solutions specialists.
- Represent Visa with Customers and in Public Forums: Represent Visa with our customers and in public forums, reflecting Visa's leadership principles and values.
Qualifications
- 10+ Years of Work Experience: 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD.
- Established Track Record of Business Development Experience: The successful applicant will have an established track record of business development experience in payments, with particular depth in real-time payments and surrounding risk, fraud, and identity capabilities.
- Deep Understanding of Card Network Payments: A deep understanding of card network payments, cross-border money movement, domestic account-to-account, and government programs is required.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit and Strong Thought Leadership: This individual should have an entrepreneurial spirit, be a self-starter with strong thought leadership with the ability to think and act independently - including a strong bias for action and outcome.
- Sound Knowledge of Technology and Fintech: Sound knowledge of technology, fintech, and innovation in digital commerce and payments is required.
- Experience in Working with Large Complex Organizations: Experience in working with, and influencing, large complex organizations is essential.
- Strong Financial, Analytical, Collaborative, and Product Skills: This is a highly commercial role, and you will need strong financial, analytical, collaborative, and product skills that align with managing major opportunities.
- Influencing Skills and Excellent Communication Skills: Influencing skills will be a critical part of this role. You must be able to influence both internal and external business partners with credibility while establishing open and transparent relationships.
