Erosion Control Team Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a team of 2-3 workers on a daily basis
  • Manage and execute tasks such as silt fence setup, hydroseeding, underdrain installation, manhole punch work, bond release activities, asphalt repairs, and crack sealing
  • Transport team members to and from job locations
  • Operate mini-excavators and skid steers to fulfill daily operational duties
  • Complete necessary documentation including daily job tickets and time sheets
  • Perform trenching and excavation tasks
  • Load and unload construction supplies
  • Communicate effectively with Client Representatives, Superintendents, and Project Managers
  • Experience with Super Silt Fence, Silt fence, seeding, punch work, or underdrain preferred
Qualifications:
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Experience driving a truck with a trailer
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Eligibility for employment in the United States
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in construction or landscaping
  • Familiarity with Bobcats and/or mini excavators
  • Preferred experience with silt fence or underdrain
  • Reliable transportation to the designated yard
Physical Demands:

The employee must maintain physical fitness to perform manual labor in various environments and conditions, including heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).

Regular activities include sitting and standing, using hands for handling or feeling, and effective verbal communication.

Additional physical requirements involve walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Vision abilities necessary for the role include distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the capacity to adjust focus.
