We are seeking a Licensed Speech Language Pathologist / Speech Therapist to contribute to our mission at LHC Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess patients to evaluate rehabilitation potential, identify needs, and create personalized treatment plans with specific goals.
  • Establish initial Short-Term Goals (STG) and Long-Term Goals (LTG).
  • Ensure the safe and proper use of therapeutic equipment, maintaining inspection and maintenance logs, and reporting any malfunctioning equipment.
  • Adhere to the medical regimen tailored for each patient, observing necessary precautions as required.
  • Implement safe treatment methodologies, including compensatory strategies for swallowing and communication challenges.
  • Select appropriate diagnostic tools to evaluate all facets of communication and swallowing abilities.
  • Prepare a discharge summary for each patient upon their final visit to outpatient speech therapy.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification is mandatory.
  • A valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation, or access to public transit.
