About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team at LexisNexis. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, expanding our existing customer base, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, maintaining a tight record of all outbound prospecting and sales activity
  • Plan and execute territory or account approach, managing own resources and working closely with marketing and sales leadership
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of viable opportunities, ensuring timely follow-up and closure
  • Lead a small sales team, providing coaching and motivation to drive high performance
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent experience with professional software and CRM systems
  • Proven experience generating new business sales in a business-to-business environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with a tenacious Executive Presence
  • Ability to travel based on customer needs
