Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and patient Caregiver to join our team at Sevita. As a Caregiver, you will assist individuals with their personal hygiene and support those who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist individuals with their daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support individuals with developmental goals, such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
  • Encourage individuals to participate in community activities and engage in their favorite hobbies
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 6 months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination
  • Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
